Oncologist


Duties and Responsibilities: Oncologist are physicians and surgeons who evaluate and treat patients suffering from cancer. As key members of a medical team, they work in conjunction with other doctors, nurses, lab technicians and orderlies who treat patients. Their professional responsibilities include talking with patients about symptoms and examining them for signs of disease. Often coordinating with other physicians, oncologist also request and analyze test results, discuss treatment options and monitor patients progress during therapy.

Salary:  $184,820 yearly salary

Education: Completion of a bachelor's degree program, particular one that includes coursework in the biological and chemical sciences, is the first step in becoming an oncologist. Admission to an accredited school is next, a competitive and selective program that typically requires a passing score on the Medical College Admission Test. The program takes four years to complete and include classroom studies, lab work and supervised clinical or hospital rotations. Additional requirements include 3-8 years of internship and residencies; oncologist must also pass a state licensing exam before they can practice medicine.

Reflection: I would like to work in this career because it seems like a nice career to pick as a job also the pay is somewhat good.

Clinical Manager


Duties and Responsibilities:
 They are a type of medical and health service manager, work as managers in both administrative and medical capacities to ensure that the establishment for which they work runs smoothly. Clinical managers often work for doctors' offices, clinics, long-term care facilities, and outpatient facilities.


Salary:The annual earnings for medical and health services managers are $88,580.

Education:
Depending on the size of the workplace and the exact demands of the position, employers' education requirements for clinical managers will vary. Generally, you'll need to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in field like medical services administration or health care administration.


Reflection: I would not like to be one because I feel I would do better in another medical field or in another field of work in general.

Biomedical Engineer 



Duties and Responsibilities:
Biomedical Engineers analyze and design solutions to problems in biology and medicine, with the goal of improving the quality and effectiveness of patient care. They design systems and products, such as artificial internal organs, artificial devices that replace body parts, and machines for diagnosing medical problems.

Salary: $52,600-$139,450

Education: Biomedical engineers typically need a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from an accredited program to enter the occupation. Alternatively, they can get a bachelor's degree in a different field of engineering and then either get a graduate degree in biomedical engineering or get on-the job training in biomedical engineering.

Reflection: It would be fun to be one because it is an important job in the medical field. They also get paid a good amount.
