Summary: Showcase Experience

Well at the start of the project I felt nervous because it seemed like a big thing to do in a few weeks but as soon as we hit the ground running everything felt a lot easier than it should have. My group members were Cynthia , Edward , Pedro and me Valentin our groups topic was lung caner. My specific job in the group was to form a counter claim at first I was thinking it was going to be hard but after thinking about clearly it went by in a flash. When we were up in front of the panelist I felt nervous but I had to calm myself down for my group so I did just that. When my turn to talk came up I took one big breath and began and as it happened I only made one mistake. After a minute or so they as me a question which I was ready to answer but while I was talking I felt something in my throat wanting me to stop and crack under the pressure but at the end I just fought threw it.

"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad I feel bad."

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: This quote is is trying to say that when a person does good they feel good and when a person does bad they feel bad. One example for me is when I held a old man in need of money after I gave him some I felt great. Another example is that I didn't help someone in need and afterwards I felt terrible.

"Always do right."

Mark Twain

Reflection: This quote is saying that you should always do what is right. I think this quote is right in what it is trying to do but it might have been delivered wrong since the majority of the human population does not always chose the right.

When You Tell One Lie it leads to Another

Paul Hatch

When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You're in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won' suspect
you
Then you tell six lies and you'll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
'Cause you can't remember how many lies
you've told
And half the things you say aren't true
And sometimes you;ll slip up, you'll trip up
and then
Whatever will become of you?
So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep
Multiplying
'Till the whole world will know
you're lying
Then you'll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Dislike
And you should!
When you lie, you're closing the door
On everything good

The things I did this last week was nothing because my mom could not for work reasons. The only things I did was reading and some playing with the dog also played some football with my next door neighbor. For thanksgiving I went to my godmothers house to celebrate thanksgiving like we always do. The only people there were my godmother, godfather, my two cousins, my mother and me. We ate ham, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, etc.
