Home Health Aide

Home Health Aid

Duties and Responsibilities: Home health aids help people who are disabled, chronically ill, or cognitively impaired. They often help older adults who need assistance, In some states, home health aids may be able to give a client medication or check the client's vital signs under the direction of a nurse or other healthcare practitioner.

Salary:  $20,820

Education: There is no formal education requirement for home health aids, but most aides have a high school diploma. Home health aides who work for certified home health or hospice agencies must get formal and pass a standardized test.

Reflection: I would not like to be one because I don't like being near old people. Also the pay is not the best.
