World Records

The World Record:
1. FPS expert Will "BigTymer" Johnson is the highest-earning Call of Duty player. Between 2009 and 2012, Will made $135,000 from four different Call of Duty titles on the Major League Gaming Pro Circuit. Will set this record on October 9th 2012.
  2. Victor De Leon III also known as Lil Poison picked up a Dreamcast Controller at the age of two to, play NBA 2K. He entered his first competition a Halo tournament in his native New York at the age of four, and was competing in the Major League Games one year later. In 2005 Lil Poison age seven signed an exclusive deal with the organizers of Major League Gaming, and became the youngest signed professional video gamer. This record was set on the 1st of January 2005 when he signed his contract.
3.  Steve Sansweet has amassed an estimated 300,000 unique items at Rancho Obi-Wan in Northern California. As of May 4th 2014 only 92,240 items have been accurately audited and cataloged- a number sufficient, however, to beat the previous holder of this title by a factor of four. Sansweet estimates that the catalog will takes years to complete as his collection continues to grow. This record was set on May 4th 2014.

Favorite Record: My favorite record is the highest-earning Call of Duty player because it shows that even video games can earn you money. I also like but is something I want to strive for. This record fascinated me because here you have a man who is playing video games to a professional level and is earning money for I think everybody who plays video games wants to be able to do that. I would like to break this record because it will show people that even if you play video games you can still make a decent living off of it. But I also want to one up by being the highest-earning professional player for all games in general.
